He’s heart broken that his only child has been affected by the radiation and has been ripped from him and his wife, but he manages to lie his way around the truth and give his son special attention. The relationship with his wife is on the rocks, as she pushes constantly to convince Peter to be a convergent so he can see his son. However, Peter refuses and acknowledges that his wife may leave him.
