AFTER THE APOCALYPSE AND THE FOLLOWING EXILE, THE WORLD'S PEOPLES SPLIT INTO VARIOUS BELIEF GROUPS. EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION - AND SOME OPT TO IGNORE THE TRUTH ALTOGETHER - SO HERE'S THE LIST OF THE FACTIONS THAT FORMED. NOTE, MOST GROUPS CONSIST OF EITHER SUPERNATURAL BEINGS (VAMPIRES, WEREWOLVES, AND MAGICKS) OR HUMANS. ONLY THE CONVERGENTS CONSIST OF BOTH SUPERNATURALS AND HUMANS.
THRASHERS ,
Thrashers are supernatural beings who want the humans dead for the prejudice they showed after the apocalypse. They are upset about their unjust exile and want revenge on those who imposed the sentence. They are radicals who keep to themselves and work out their vengeance in secret. Although the supernatural government tries to find them to stamp out their efforts, the Thrashers hide themselves well through underground networks and connections.
ISOLATIONISTS ,
The Isolationists consist of supernatural beings who believe the exile was a good thing and want no part of human civilization. They support independence of all supernatural beings with no outside interference, and they often attempt to forget the existence of humans altogether.
CONVERGENTS ,
The Convergents are both supernatural beings and humans who believe in a world where everyone lives in harmony with equal rights under one government. They would like for all species to be combined instead of the supernatural beings living in exile. This group works toward rejoining the societies, a seemingly-impossible mission. On rare occasions, the humans and supernatural beings that make up this group are able to join for meetings, but their seperate governments monitor all human - supernatural contact which makes assembling practically impossible.
BLINDERS ,
Blinders are humans who wish to stay out of the world's conflicts concerning the injustice to the supernatural beings. They don't stand up and say that the exile was wrong, but they also don't admit it was right either. Basically, they don't join sides and would prefer the world passed them by without asking questions or demanding their time.
BLEEDERS ,
The Bleeders are humans who supported the exile when it happened. They openly hate supernatural beings and think they deserve the fate they have. Often violent, Bleeders find themselves thrown in jail when the authorities can actually catch them. Deep down they are afraid of anything different so they don't want to see the supernaturals as equals.
